He loved spending time with them. His world that had grown up and moved away from him. When they visited, he wanted nothing to interfere with his attention to them. He kept his eyes on his children and nothing else.

She watched them together for years and years. Now, the way she herself, had been treated was being inflicted on him.

When he was speaking to his daughter, she would break away and whisper to her daughter and they would laugh, ignoring his speech. She watched in awe and horror at his daughter ignore and diminish her father the way that she herself had been…
